About Awra
Built in Ethiopia, for Africa
Awra Solution PLC is an Ethiopian technology company based in Addis Ababa. We design, build and run our own products from end to end, including the backend systems, the mobile and desktop apps, and the Telegram Mini Apps people use every day.
Our first two products deal with everyday problems: finding a home without paying inflated broker fees, and getting small things across the neighborhood quickly and safely.
Fair by design
Clear prices and no exaggerated middleman fees, so people keep more of their own money.
Local first
Designed for Ethiopian cities and neighborhoods, in local languages, and inside apps people already use, like Telegram.
Trust built in
Verified users, secret handover codes and a record of every step, so problems can be traced and resolved.
Made to grow
We're starting in Addis Ababa, and we design everything so it can serve more cities and, in time, the rest of Africa.
